Ice Cube plays a agitated publisher who moves his new family to the country to buy a house that is more than he bargained for. Lots of slapstick, crashing, smashing, and laughing, when his realtor sells him more than a fixer up dream house. Newlyweds Nick (Ice Cube) and Suzanne (Long) decide to move to the suburbs to provide a better life for their two kids. But their idea of a dream home is disturbed by a contractor (McGinley) with a bizarre approach to business.
